Kokhana Village – Nepal

Today’s photo is from Nepal…

Depending on the season we go, we encounter wheat, rice and corn harvests on the terraces at the entrance of Kokhana Village… A feverish work goes on… We take the photographs that we have our share of…

Since it is a distant subject, a photo I took by using a tele lens, cleaning the details that are irrelevant to the surrounding subject, and sorting it out…

When I use a tele lens, I usually try to keep the shutter speed high with the choice of open aperture …

I tried to make a diagonal installation in order to fully reflect the rhythm of the terraces.

I took a general light metering with the ESP light metering system on Olympus cameras. With this system, the camera measures the light of every point of the frame and gives the result with a weighted average. Thus, the light of each point entering the frame is evaluated. I often use this measurement system for subjects such as nature photography…

For my JPEG files, I again made the colors come out warmer with the CLOUDY (Cloudy) White Balance.
