In 2000, Cenk established FOTOTREK PHOTOGRAPHY CENTER, a renowned hub for photography enthusiasts and professionals alike. In recognition of Istanbul’s status as the European Capital of Culture in 2010, he organized the captivating Photography Passage: Istanbul 2010, showcasing the city’s vibrant visual tapestry.
His remarkable contributions extend beyond photography instruction. Cenk has served as a trusted consultant for the Kocaeli Photography Technologies Museum, which opened its doors in August 2022. His keen insights and guidance have played a pivotal role in shaping the museum’s offerings and enhancing the visitor experience.
As an esteemed editor, Cenk has published seven exceptional photography albums and provided critical analysis for four insightful exhibitions. Additionally, he has authored five renowned books, including People and Portraits, Composition for Effective Photography, Narrative in Photography, Taking Photos In The Street and Journeys, and Journeys-2. Cenk GENÇDİŞ, 30 yılı aşkın süredir profesyonel olarak fotoğrafçılıkla uğraşmaktadır.
Fotoğrafları ve makaleleri birçok dergide yayınlandı. Türkiye’nin ve dünyanın farklı yerlerinde sergiler açtı, söyleşi ve sunumlar yaptı. Çeşitli yarışmalardan ödüller kazandı.
1995 yılından bu yana binlerce kişiye fotoğraf dersi verdi. 50’den fazla kurum ve kuruluşta fotoğraf eğitmeni ve danışmanı olarak çalıştı. Fotoğraf danışmanı olarak 20’den fazla ülkeye geziler düzenledi.
2000 yılının Mayıs ayında FOTOTREK FOTOĞRAF MERKEZİ’ni kurdu.
İstanbul 2010 Avrupa Kültür Başkenti etkinlikleri kapsamında Fotoğraf Geçidi : İstanbul 2010’u düzenledi.
2022 Ağustos ayında açılan Kocaeli Fotoğraf Teknolojileri Müzesi danışmanlığını yaptı.
Ayrıca editör olarak 7 Fotoğraf Albümü ve 4 Sergi Okuması yayınladı.
İnsanlar ve Portre, Etkili Fotoğraflar İçin Kompozisyon, Fotoğrafça Anlatım, Sokakta Fotoğraf Çekerken ve Yol(cu)luk, Yol(cu)luk-2 adlı altı kitabı ve Eski Kıtanın Yolları adlı bir fotoğraf albümü bulunmaktadır.
