ADIYAMAN AND SURROUNDING PROVINCES SYRIAN ANCIENT METROPOLITANCY

ADIYAMAN / AUGUST 2017

Carrying the flag of photography for more than 28 years, I have been walking the roads in different parts of Turkey and the world. During these pleasant (and at times tiring) journeys, I work on different photography subjects such as architecture, nature and night. However, the field that I deal with intensely, of course, is human and portrait photography… For this purpose, I try to get the most effective result as much as possible in almost every situation and environment…

When we go to Adıyaman for the star exposure trip I will make in Nemrut, we also visit the mosques and churches in the city. ADIYAMAN AND THE SURROUNDING PROVINCES SYRIAN ANCIENT METROPOLITANCY is also a spot we visited and photographed in this program…

Metropolit Ms. Melki ÜREK not only hosted us but also helped us during the shoots we made by not breaking our request.

While giving us information about the church, he also endured the endless requests of us photographers, such as “Can you please stand in the middle? Could you look this way a little bit?”

I had to use a wide-angle lens to show Mr. Metropolitan with the venue. Since we were indoors, open aperture and high ISO were other technical choices… It was necessary to take all these decisions quickly and implement them.

I chose White Balance as DAYLIGHT to include the effect of artificial light sources indoors in the photo.

I completed the shooting by ensuring that the tones are formed correctly with the minus (-) exposure.
